d. Registered career colleges
Career colleges, also known as trade or vocational schools, are private schools that provide a wide variety of practical training to help you prepare for your chosen career. Programs at career colleges are designed for students to be able to move into a career quickly. Registered career colleges are members of the Ontario Association of Career Colleges.

Distance Studies allows the student to enrol in university or college courses if he/she is unable to attend campus classes. Distance studies may include communication with the instructor and classmates using web-based communication technologies.

For students coming from outside Canada, our universities and colleges offer an excellent and competitive education.

You may discover that you need to obtain additional secondary school credits to qualify for admission to the postsecondary program of your choice or to obtain the skills necessary for employment. The Board of Education has adult schools for students needing to earn secondary school credits.
